Stephanie Santell has nearly two decades of experience at the intersection of science, policy, and finance, advancing resilient environmental solutions. Stephanie is the Founder and CEO of (Re)wilding, where she leads strategy and operations for a resilience tech startup grounded in holistic impact. In this role, she aligns the company’s business and sustainability goals and drives product innovation to maximize carbon removal, regenerative ecosystems, and local resilience outcomes. She additionally leads strategic partnerships to scale high-impact climate innovations across the world as the North American Director for Okhtapus. Before entering the private sector, Stephanie held several pivotal roles shaping national climate and environmental policy. At the U.S. EPA, Stephanie led high-profile initiatives implementing key federal climate legislation and Executive Orders out of the Administrator's Office—including a groundbreaking effort to integrate climate risk into EPA’s funding and financing programs. As Office of Water’s Climate Advisor, she designed and executed its adaptation strategy, following a decade of implementing national water programs to strengthen ecosystem protection and restoration nationwide. With a B.A. in Biology and an M.P.P. in Environmental Policy, Stephanie is recognized for translating technically complex initiatives into clear, compelling strategies that inspire action across diverse audiences.
